Pointless Work

This project explores the struggles of unrecognized labor, particularly for women and housewives. Using plastic bags to symbolize life, butter paper for work, and a toy house as a utopian ideal, I depict how societal pressures become self-imposed burdens. Wrapping these materials around the house reflects this internalization of judgment.

Inspired by my experience as a stay-at-home mom, the work highlights the undervaluation of essential yet invisible labor. It invites viewers to break free from societal constraints, embrace self-recognition, and find personal meaning.
